Keeping in mind these words we have created antoniloskot.com project. Despite the large emphasis on the visual part of work, we had a lot of technical work to connect the sterile style with an advanced functionality.
Antoni Łoskot is the author of both commercial and conceptual photos. When reviewing his portfolio one can find wedding pictures, family pictures, photographs from events as well as the images of a reality surrounding us .
Team Meant4 Web Studio joined the project after a series of meetings during which confirmed the nature of the project, the main premise of information architecture and then proceeded to implement the service.
The whole service is based on Drupal content management system and Flash . To meet the requirements of our customers, we had to create several new modules modifying default behavior of Drupal.
Evergreen
Evergreen is a place that was a result of the twentieth century fascination with design. Items collected in the shop, despite the fact that from the date of its design is often passed dozens of years, continues to combine the functionality and timeless aesthetics of the highest sample.
Presented collection contains furniture from the Bauhaus through the present day - forms that enliven the interiors of New York City lofts, Paris apartments and minimalist studios in Tokyo.
Meant4 Web Studio team was responsible for running the project from the start, which included: preparation of information architecture, development, search engine optimization and introduction of a new website to the market.
The whole service is based on a content management system Drupal and Flash technology.
Homefit
Homefit is the largest distributor of sports equipment in the Waterloo Region, Canada.
Meant4 Web Studio in cooperation with Eyedoodle prepared an information architecture and project's technical specification, that meeting the customer's requirements became the key points of the implementation phase of the Homfit website.
The entire page is based on a Drupal content management system, while part of the presentation layer has been developed using the YUI library (Yahoo User Interface).
We have also used Flash technology so that the individual sections of the service could present full, high-resolution pictures as a background.
Toyota Sopot Match Race 2007,2008
Sailing Race Toyota Sopot Match Race is one of the most important and the most prestigious sporting events organised in Poland. Recognized by the Polish Olympic Committee and Polish Sailing Committee as Sailing Event of year 2007 .
Sailing competition takes place in the formula Match Racing , known for its Sailing Cup of America: clear fights for viewers' one on one '- in any race involving only two yachts; rivalry is clear even for the uninitiated, each race last 20 minutes played and is in the area of 600 m to 600 m. It is a day about 40 exciting duels of the water.
Team Meant4 Web Studio was asked to join this annual event and therefore to create an application in order to track the position of the boats and the presentation of their players in real time on the website.
The site has been designed to present the position of players, conditions on the water, players ranking so that fans from all over the world can take part in this sporting event.
Thanks to cooperation with companies Finder and Imagis we have been able ship working application in the period of one week.
GPMapaTOPO
GPMapa Topo is the first in Poland to commercial map GARMIN GPS devices, intended for hiking and cycling. As the name GPMapa Topo facilitates orientation in the topography of land users "Outdoors" GPS devices in Poland.
GPMapa Topo is a combination of an accurate maps of Poland, known for its product GPMapa for car navigation, with the shape of the land of Poland. Terrain is presented with a line level and a special shading. Shading terrain helps amateurs hiking and cycling orientation in the field.
In addition GPMapaTOPO in selected regions of Poland such as: Tatry, Masuria, Kaszuby, Gorce, Jura Cracow-Czestochowa, Góry Świętokrzyskie, Beskidy (Low, Sądecki, Wyspowy, Śląski, Żywiecki, Small), Kotlina Kłodzka and around Warsaw and Krakow includes:
- 8,697 km of cycle paths
- 10,348 km pedestrian trails
After timely implementation of the project GPMapa Meant4.pl Web Studio team was requested for the next website creation for GPMapaTOPO product.
Since the architecture of information on the site GPMapa has been tested and improved in terms of traffic on the site, we have decided to entirely rely on GPMapa information architecture and by using Drupal - CMS we have finished GPMapaTOPO in less than 48 hours.
GPMapa
GPMapa is a digital map of Poland for the car navigation devices GARMIN GPS.
GPMapa version contains the following data:
- More than 2.2 million points of the address (exactly 2 253 831)
- 2783 detailed plans of cities and towns, including the 2520 plans with addresses and 263 plans, only the names of streets
- 405 152 km of roads, including 306 306 km of asphalt roads and 99 009 km of roads groundwater
- 144 405 objects of general interest (POI), including photo radars and "black spots"
- 44 city buildings including outlines (Augustow, Bartoszyce, Białystok, Brodnica, Bydgoszcz, Bytom, Chelmno, Częstochowa, Elbląg, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Giżycko, Gorzow Wielkopolski, Ilawa, Katowice, Ketrzyn, Kielce, Kościerzyna, Krakow, Krosno Odrzańskie, Lublin, Łódź, Mrągowo, Myślenice, Olkusz, Olsztyn, Ostroda, Poznan, Gdansk Pruszcz, Radom, Reda, Rzeszów, Sopot, Starogard Gdansk, Szczecin, Szczytno, Tarnów, Tczew, Warsaw, Wieliczka, Wroclaw, September, Zabrze, Zielona Góra )
During this project Meant4 team was responsible for:
- Development of information architecture, including a team of Imagis
- Development of a version of xhtml page on the basis of the material (Drupal theme creation)
- Integration with the existing system for reporting points of interest
- Implementation of the website
- Carrying out the project from technical point of view
Entire website has been created using Drupal CMS.
Ginas Spa. Hair Studio. Medi Spa
Established in 1969 Gina's Spa is one of the first day spas in Canada. For almost 40 years, Gina's has been the premier spa facility in Waterloo Region.
Beginning with manicure, pedicure and facial treatments, Gina's has grown to provide a wide range of services across many disciplines: aesthetics, body treatments, registered massage therapy, hair design and colouring and medical spa treatments.It is the largest spa facility in the Kitchener-Waterloo region, with over 35 staff members.
Meant4 Web Studio team together with Eyedoodle team has been designing information architecture, technical specification and implementation of Ginasspa website in order to meet customer requirements.
Working on that project was fun as none of Meant4 team members has been familiar with Spa topic...
MapaMap GPS navigation software
MapaMap is a family of GPS car navigation systems. MapaMap systems are simple and intuitive to operate, featuring the most precise and up-to-date maps.
MapaMap offers REAL 3D navigation – it means navigation with 3D buildings in the cities, which provide users with much better orientation in the field. MapaMap available on Polish market offers REAL 3D navigation for 11 large Polish towns: Białystok, Częstochowa, Gdańsk, Łódź, Katowice, Kraków, Olsztyn, Poznań, Tarnów, Wrocław, Warszawa.
Mapamap is a product created by Polish IT company Imagis. When creating the application for Toyota Sopot Match Race 2007 and 2008 editions we were cooperating with Imagis Team what lead us to another projects and Mapamap is one of these.
Meant4 Team has been responsible for data migration from custom made CMS system in order to bring Mapamap to 21st century, integration of 3rd party system which are already functioning at Imagis (licencing system, stock level monitoring), online store creation and platnosci.pl payment gateway integration.
Polish National Railways S.A
Polish National Railways is one of the most strategic transportation companies on the Polish market. We have been asked to create new corporate website which will fulfill customer's needs.
Major goals when creating the new website were to let employees of Polish National Railways easily publish new content in certain areas of the webpage and to integrate the application with European system of railway schedules named Hafas.
