As we use a third party credit card processor, we don't have your credit card information with us. And therefore we don't store your credit card information on our system. We trust your credit card information is totally secure.
What type of connection do you use?
We do not connect you to cheap bandwidth! We use only premium UUNET/MCI,
TimeWarner, AT&T.
How long will it take to get access to my account/web site after I sign up for hosting with you?
All hosting accounts are instantly activated (within 20 minutes
you will receive your welcome email with login data).
Is there a setup fee?
All our hosting plans coming with no setup fee.
Do you offer custom hosting and reseller plan?
Please contact sales@meant4.com and we will prepare a custom package.
Do you support ASP or Cold Fusion?
No, we do not provide ASP and Cold Fusion services.
Do you provide Windows2000/NT based hosting?
No, we do not provide Windows2000/NT based hosting. We use CentOS 4.2.
Do you offer SSL and do I have to buy an SSL Certificate?
Yes, you buy the certificate, we will install it for you.
Do you offer Adult Hosting?
Yes, we do allow Adult Hosting.
Billing Questions
Does Meant4.com charge me anything if I get over my account features?
It's not possible to get over your account limits. If you get over your
account limits somehow, we will send you an invoice for payment.
Remember that we do not charge our members anything unless they agree to
it.
Can I cancel my recurring payment?
Yes. Please contact
billing@meant4.com and we will cancel/update your recurring payment.
Do you accept Credit Cards online?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards. Your charge will appear as
2CO.COM on your statement. We are using 2CO.COM as our sales partner.
How do I know if I have been charged or not?
After any successful transaction, you will receive and email saying a
transaction was made. If you did not get an email, it means no
transaction was made and your credit card has not been charged.
Do you accept Paypal?
No we do not accept Paypal. We accept all major Credit Cards.
Can I try your system before deciding?
Yes, we offer a 14 day money back guarantee. If you are dissatisfied
with your service for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
Do you offer money back guarantee?
Yes, we offer a 14 day money back guarantee. This is only valid when the customer is abiding to our terms during the stay with us. We also ask the user to provide the reason of cancellation.
Account and Control Panel Questions
What control panel do you provide?
We provide, cPanel. This is the best and highly secured control panel available in the hosting industry. You can find it under http://yourdomain.com/cpanel.
Where can I check my email?
You can use POP3 services like Outlook Express, Eudora or web based email under the link http://yourdomain.com/webmail.
Can I run CGI scripts anywhere on my account directories?
No, cgi scripts must be located in the cgi-bin; this is for your security.
What is an Addon domain?
Addon domains are the number of domains you can use with your account.
What is the difference between addon domains and domain pointer?
Addon domains are stand alone fully working domains, domain pointing is like duplicating the domain.
Can I upgrade/downgrade my account at any level?
Yes, you can upgrade/downgrade your account from plan to plan anytime you want. Just contact sales@meant4.com.
Do I really get unlimited sub domains, FTP, Autoresponder, and Email aliases?
You can build as much as you can, there is no limit on creating sub
domain, FTP accounts, Email aliases etc. It depends on your account
space. As long as you have space in your account, you can build anything
you want.
What is Bandwidth?
Bandwidth is data transfer from your web-site in a one-month period it includes FTP, POP3 and subdomains, etc.
What will happen if I exceed my bandwidth limit?
It is not possible to exceed your bandwidth limit. When you reach your
bandwidth limit, instead of your web-site, a page will appear saying you
have reached your bandwidth limit. You can ask for extra bandwidth block
in case you need your site to show up, or you can wait until the first
day of the next month where your bandwidth limit restarts.
How much bandwidth do I need?
Let's say your site has 200 visitors per day and you have 10 web-pages
total. Each page has 20KB data, including pictures and stuff. So every
day your web site will use approximately 40MB. That's 1.2GB every month.
How much space do I need?
Depending on the nature of your business, if your site has lots of
graphics and you offer programs or software to download, you need more
space. If you offer information or projects that won't take too much
space, you need less space.
Can I upgrade my plan, space, bandwidth, etc. later?
Yes, you can add Disk Space, Bandwidth, mySQL databases or any option
you would like after your account was created.
Do I have 24/7 access to FTP, control panel, etc?
Yes, you have 24 hours a day, 7 days a week access to your FTP, Control
panel, emails etc.
Am I allowed to do background activities such as BitchX, ircd, psyBNC,
etc.?
No, you cannot run such programs on our servers. However, we
might grant special permission to run such services.
